In addition to his photographic practice, Rod is retained by ixia, the UK’s Public Art Think Tank.
Over the last 15 years Rod’s work with ixia has primarily focussed on evaluation and sector economic analysis. This has included four major public art surveys; “Public Art: A Guide to Evaluation” and “Review of Visual Arts Funding Models and Section 106 Agreements” for Arts Council England.
